A big thank you to my friend and "strapper" for the day, Helen, for your assistance, whilst I was hobbling around on one leg!

Last weekend I attended a Retrieving Ability Test trial, for the first time with my own dogs. It proved to be quite a successful weekend, with Sascha (Oakridge Panache CCD) obtaining a 1st placing in the Novice Stake on Saturday afternoon, Zella (Birkenwald Bacara RRD CD, Imp UK) gaining a 1st place in the Open Stake on Saturday morning and another 2nd placing on Sunday, and the star of the weekend, Nugget, gaining 4th and 2nd placings in the Novice Stakes held on Saturday, and then 1st place on Sunday! With these 3 qualifying passes in Novice, Nugget has now earned the Novice Retrieving Ability title, and will soon officially be known as Oakridge Nusakan NRA. A big thank you to my friend and "strapper" for the day, Helen, for your assistance, whilst I was hobbling around on one leg! Pictured here are me with Nugget, and the judge.
