Nora herself, has a lovely friendly and biddable nature. In the short time that we have had to get to know each other, I have found her to be an enthusiastic retriever and very confident and capable in the water. I purchased her, sight unseen, on the recommendation of a friend. The sire of the pups (KS Ilex II von Neuarenberg) has been a very popular sire throughout Europe and has previously produced some very beautiful progeny. I was lucky enough to meet him, and well-performed progeny of his, during my visit to Germany in 2014. I feel very privileged, and lucky, to have been able to use him at stud over Nora, before importing her, and am looking forward to seeing how their puppies develop.
Barely a month ago, I imported a bitch in whelp from Germany - Nora Anjules (D1 S1 VJP) - who has now, much to my immense relief, safely given birth to a nice litter of 3 dogs and 6 bitches (both brown & white and black & white puppies).

Sascha worked remarkably well, and consistently, during the first half of the retrieving season, however this was curtailed when Kimmi's puppies arrived.
In only 4 weekends of trialling earlier this year, Sascha (Ch Oakridge Panache NRD ORA CCD) managed to gain 2 wins and three Second placings (and only missed first place at two of these, by one point!). My friend Neville also enjoyed some success with his boy Riley (Oakridge Lochinvar ORA NRD) gaining a 3rd then a 1st Place in Restricted. Well done, Neville and Riley! I have been incredibly pleased with the way that Kimmi and Hudson's puppies have started to shape up, so much so, that I would be tempted to repeat that mating some time down the track (something that I have never done before!). They all performed well with their temperament tests, with amazingly consistent results, especially given that there were 12 of them. All have gone to their lovely new homes now, and I wish them well.
