Here are some of Magnum's progeny
Unfortunately, several of his litters were sired prior to me keeping digital records.
To date Magnum has produced two show champion progeny, with one of them also proving his competitive versatility in a number of other activities.
The majority of Magnum's progeny have gone to hunting homes, however a small number of them have ventured into the show ring. Both the solid brown Ch Oakridge Nusakan NRD NRA CCD (Dog CC & R/up BIS at Victorian GSP Specialty) and very laid-back black & white, Ch Oakridge Obsidian NRA CCD (multiple Minor Puppy in Group winner, Puppy in Group, National Specialty Puppy in Show and Puppy Sweepstakes winner) have enjoyed some success in the show ring. Both these dogs have received "Excellent" gradings at National Shows, as did their sire.

Here's a written account of two of Magnum's progeny:
Chance & Chase have both turned out to be beautiful dogs.
Chase is about as laid back as you can get I think. He is a fantastic retriever with the softest mouth I could hope for. He will retrieve to hand wonderfully.
Chase is the most loving male I think anyone could ever have. He has grown just over the standard height at a guess (I haven't measured him but I think he is slightly too big) but he is my "Gentle Ben". Matt equates him with the big fellow on The Green Mile! He has no nastiness in him whatsoever and is an absolute gentleman with small children (much like his dad I guess). We have had a lot of people come around who are considering getting a GSP and want to see what they are like etc. I have to laugh when people on the phone say "We definitely want a female - much more gentle" or "We have small children & think a female would be better". We always tell them that obviously it comes down to how they are raised but to come and see the dogs first for themselves. You would be amazed at the amount of families that end up changing their mind after seeing Chase. He makes me laugh though - He meets everyone at the gate and if there are small kids that seem to be afraid of him (which is most of them) he stands dead still and wags his tail, then (like he has suddenly had a thought) all of a sudden he turns and takes off flat tack for the house. He returns just as quick with a toy, whether it's a kong / ball / rope toy / whichever he could locate immediately, and will gently place it on the ground and lie down so that the child will pick it up and toss it. He will bring it back and put it on the ground, lying down himself until he can see that they are a little more reassured then he will start sitting up and handing it to them himself. He amazes most parents and one couple told us that their little boy was terrified of dogs until he had played with Chase. He sired a litter about 14 months ago and those puppies are all doing well too.
Chance is a bitch that is completely full on! Her energy level is through the roof, and she is very birdy. We have a pen of pheasants that she spends a lot of her day stalking, and she has one of the best flushes I've seen. She peeks into their house through a crack at the back to see when they are going to walk into their run, sneaks up the side and jumps about 5 feet into the air like a springbok. I have to have a bit of a chuckle to myself as I'm watching from a distance.
